The 7th grade girls' basketball team is doing really well this season! We have only lost two games, thanks to our great coaches Bruce Anderson
and Dan Ryan. They make our games and practice so much fun! Our sports program is so great; everyone in the athletic association really cares about us. They worked so hard just so we could have a chance to play basketball. Basketball is a great way to maintain a healthy body, socialize with your friends, and to learn sportsmanship and teamwork. Everyone just loves it! 30 second time out with the coach! Q: How do you feel our season is going this year? A: I think the season is going very well. It has been the most challenging season this team has ever had. The other teams are getting better and better, and our girls have adjusted well to them. Q: Do you like coaching? Why? A: I really like coaching. Its fun to watch all the girls get better and it seems like we have a very cohesive team. All the girls like each other, and coaching these girls has been a blast.

Q: What inspired you to coach? A: I have always liked the game, and its even more fun to pass on my knowledge of the game to the girls. They are very good listeners, and quick learners. It’s a great feeling when the girls execute a great play, or out-rebound them every time; and of course to win. Q: How much to you think we have improved this year? A: I think the teams shooting much better; the ball handling has improved, and all the girls have learned to work together tremendously. Q: Do you think we will be champions yet again this year? Why? A: I think we have a chance at the championship this year, definitely. It will require hard work, determination, focus, and a little bit of luck. But I have total faith that our team will pull it through and win the championship. Room 310 |
