Enrichment Clubs
St. Viator Students Participate in Varied After-School Activities.
The halls of St. Viator School were filled with the sounds of learning long after the dismissal bell on Wednesdays in April. Many of the fourth through eighth grade students were still in school, learning new, varied, and fun skills in Enrichment Clubs. The clubs, which are funded by federal grant money and Student Council, are developed and run by teachers, parents, alumni, and other adult volunteers. This year the clubs gave the students an opportunity to work on card-making and card-playing, improvisational theater and opera, mosaics and scrapbooks, cooking and computer games. In addition, the clubs help strengthen the sense of community at the school by bringing together children from different grade levels for socializing as well as instruction.
