The Feast of St. Viator
October 21, 2009: Students and Faculty Commemorate Our Patron Saint
The students and faculty of St. Viator School gathered together to celebrate a Mass in honor of our patron, St. Viator. The call to worship shared the story of St. Viator, who lived in France in the 4th century, and who serves as a model to both teachers and students. Father Charles Bolser, our pastor, told us another story at Gospel time - a story about how Jesus so loved the children that he wanted to be with them even when other adults wanted to chase them away. The children from fourth and fifth grade acted as the choir to lead the singing, under the direction of Mr. Michael Glenn, our music teacher, and to the beautiful accompaniment of Mr. Edward Lally, the new music director for St. Viator Parish.
