Boys Basketball and Girls Cheerling

Intramural Weekend November 14-15, 2008

The culmination of six weeks of practice for students in grades 4th through 8th grade ended during Intramural weekend. All the kids and parents had fun cheering the teams on. Many preK through 3rd grade students attended to cheer on their fellow students and see the tradition they will have a chance to be a part of. As usual the kitchen was well stocked with items for sale, such as, ice cream, candy, walking tacos, hamburgers, sausage, BBQ pork chops, pasta and rice. History was made for the first time since this program started - they gym lost electricity for 1 hour on Saturday. ComEd was in the neighborhood working !!

It was wonderful to see the large number of alumni that returned to catch up with friends, cheer on the students and purchase a burger from the food court. We appreciate the support of our alumni.

A special thanks to all the coaches and parents who, once again, made the weekend a success.
