CLASS OF 1956 REUNION The 50 year reunion of the Class of 1956 was held on September 29, 2006. We located 87 of 125 graduates and found 14 deceased. Over 80 people attended the reunion events, including 46 graduates, plus 2 other classmates (K-7, K-6), spouses, other SVS grads and childhood friends - arriving from CA, AZ, FL, NY, KY, WI, IA, IN, downstate IL and the Chicago area. Other grads were located in CO, WV, OH, VA, PA, MI, MN, TN, and AL. We met on the playground at 3 o'clock, toured the school, enjoyed a private and very special Mass and then went to LaVilla Restaurant for a pizza buffet dinner. Our evening was filled with conversations and a video presentation of movies and photos taken during our SVS years. We had fun with a quiz based on our biographies and prizes and gifts were awarded. We agreed that we will have a reunion every 2 years (the next one in 2008), on the last Friday in September, at LaVilla.
