St. Viator Athletic Association Mission Statement
The St. Viator Athletic Association’s [SVAA] goal is to provide St. Viator students with enrichment opportunities through our organized athletic programs. We believe in fostering the ideals of sportsmanship, motivation, acceptance, commitment, and team work through our students’ involvement in our athletic programs. We extend the St. Viator student athletic experience to our surrounding community through the opportunity to participate in our Saturday morning program and special summer athletic camps. We believe our mission enables children to develop self-esteem toward becoming exemplary citizens.
The St. Viator Athletic Association oversees all extra curricular after school athletic activities that take place in the gymnasium. These activities include:
• Traveling basketball for 4th-8th grade girls and boys
• Traveling volleyball for 5th-8th grade girls and boys
• Intramural basketball for 4th-8th grade girls and boys
• Intramural volleyball for 4th-8th grade girls and boys
• Intramural cheerleading
• Itty Bitty Basketball League for girls and boys in Pre-K 4 and Kindergarten
• Bitty Basketball League for girls and boys in 1st-3rd grades
• Introduction to Sports Program for children in Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4
• Girls on the Run for grades 2nd-5th grade
• Girls on Track for 6th & 8th grades
Additionally, the SVAA oversees the distribution of gym uniforms.
