Carranza, Jazmin (St. Viator Class of 2006) Lane Tech - Pioneer Press Booster January 23, 2008. An excerpt from an article entitled "Indians gear up for deep playoff run while Rams hammer Panthers" . . . however, as Jazmin Carranza, a sophomore, has blossomed into a terrific point guard, leading the Indians attack with smart and effective play all season. Dankowski, Jennifer (St. Viator Class of 2006) Guerin Prep - Jenny received Second Honors for the First Semester (2/2008).

Fritz, Robin (St. Viator Class of 2006) St. Patrick High School – Received 2nd Honors for the First Semester. (2 / 2008) Robin received Second Honors on the First Quarter Honor Roll (12/2008).

Gebien, Gabrielle (St. Viator Class of 2006) Trinity High School - Gigi received First Honors for the Second Semester (2/2009).

Herzberg, Kyli (Class of 2006) Northside College Prep High School took a trip to Minnesota with the summer softball team the Chicago Fireworks to take the title at the AFA Nationals U16 Tournament. (7/2008)

McCullough, Margaret (St. Viator Class of 2006) St. Ignatius College Prep - Maggie received First Honors for the First Semester (2/2009).

Puczkowskyj, Tim (Class of 2006) St. Patrick High School. Tim along with 28 band and percussion members and chaperones traveled to New Orleans over Spring Break. The band performed at De La Salle High School and also donated 115 disaster kits to the Ninth Ward Red Cross Station. (3/2008)

On Wednesday, October 29, 2008 St. Patrick's High School's Honors Jazz Band, with Junior, Tim Puczkowskyj, will perform with special guest band M13. St. Pat's Honors Jazz Band was the only high school jazz band invited to perform at the Chicago Jazz Festival this past summer. St. Pat's Jazz Band will be ready to entertain in the exciting fashion that has gained them critical acclaim among Chicago's jazz community. Featuring 13 of the finest musicians in Chicago, M13 is a dynamic, contemporary big band led by saxophonist Aaron McEvers. (10/2008)

Ryan, Jeremy (St. Viator Class of 2006) Chicago Tribune May 21, 2008 and B96 Radio Station - Class 3A State Tournament Regionals Quarterfinals (Baseball) - Sophomore Jeremy Ryan (6-1) struck out all 15 batters he faced for Gordon Tech's victory over Sullivan (Gordon 10, Sullivan 0 - [5]).
Gordon Tech High School - Pioneer Press Booster January 16, 2008. An excerpt from an article entitled "Indians crush Rams in bridge battle" - Lane Tech beat Gordon in the annual "Battle of the Bridge" basketball game. "Gordon Tech was paced by Jeremy Ryan, who scored all nine of his points in the fourth quarter on three treys." Jeremy made the Honor Roll for Term I. (2 / 2008)

Seablom, Adam (St. Viator Class of 2006) Lane Tech - Pioneer Press Booster October 3, 2007 An excerpt from an article entitled "Lane's Seablom helps team take second" "Lane Tech sophomore Adam Seablom won't soon forget his round in the city championship at Indian Boundary last Friday. Seablom, who is the Indians' No. 3 golfer, led his team to a second place finish with a round of 76, which was good enough for third place overall." Medalist Honors went to Whitney Young's Phil Prosecky who shot a 74.

As a Junior, Adam advanced, as an individual to the Chicago Public Schools Golf Championship for Lane Tech College Prep. The 18-hole Championship was played at George Dunne National Golf Course. Adam shot a 76 and tied for 1st place with Senior, Eric Nelson, from North Side College Prep. In a sudden death play off at the first hole, par 5, Adam shot a par while Eric had a birdie. Adam received second place (10/2008).

In April 2009, Adam was inducted into the National Honor Society at Lane Tech and elected President. His term as President of the National Honor Society will begin June 12, 2009.

Schlenbecker, Jake (St. Viator Class of 2006) Gordon Tech High School – Jake made the Honor Roll for Term I. (2 / 2008) Jake has been selected to the Varsity All-Conference Team in Volleyball. (5/2008)

Jake, a Junior at Gordon Tech College Prep. in the Advanced Placement Program, will be inducted into the National Honor Society on Tuesday October 14, 2008. Jake is also a three sport Varsity athlete competing in Football , Basketball and Volleyball (10/2008).

Jake has been named to the Catholic League Academic All Conference Football team and was also selected as a Student of the Semester for Fall 2008. (1/2009)
