Lenti, Gena (Class of 2008) St. Ignatius College Prep High School took a trip to Minnesota with the summer softball team the Chicago Fireworks to take the title at the AFA Nationals U16 Tournament. (7/2008) Gena received Honors with Distinction for the First Semester (2/2009).

Stanley, Nicholas (St. Viator Class of 2008) Gordon Tech High School -- Nicholas has received the Reverend Francis Gordon, CR Memorial Scholarship for his freshman year at Gordon Tech. The Scholarship is given to an outstanding eighth grader who exemplifies the character and academic prowess that Fr. Francis Gordon modeled. Nicholas is a model student who is in good academic standing, contributes to his community and has strong values. Because of these attributes, he was selected to be awarded with the Reverend Francis Gordon, CR Memorial Scholarship.
