Welcome to St. Viator Elementary School

Thank you for your interest in St. Viator!  As you browse through our website you will learn about our history, mission, and strong academic curriculum which starts with Pre-Kindergarten programs for 3-year-olds, and continues through 8th grade.  The best way to get to know St. Viator is to visit us!  

Admissions events for the 2015-2016 school year are underway and we are now accepting applications for the 2015-2016 school year. Please click here for a printable flyer of our 2015 Open House dates and continue to check our website for details about upcoming events.  You are welcome to call the school office to schedule a personal tour at a time that works for you.

Sunset Cinema 2015

St. Viator Presents Sunset Cinema, family-friendly movies shown outdoors, in the St. Viator Parking lot, beginning May 21 and lasting all summer long!

Everyone in the community is invited to attend! Bring your own chairs and blankets.  Seating begins at 7:00pm with movies starting at dusk. Suggested donations is $5.00 per family. Refreshments will be available for purchase from our consession stand.

St. Viator Announces Formation of National Junior Honor Society Chapter

St. Viator is pleased to announce that the 2015-2016 school year will be the inaugural year of our National Junior Honor Society Chapter. 

The National Junior Honor Society has been recognizing outstanding student achievement at the middle school level since 1929.  It is the nation's premier recognition program for middle school level students.  The NJHS insignia is widely recognized as representing students who have distinguished themselves as outstanding in their schools and their community.   Mrs. Kathy Johnson, 7th grade home room and junior high math instructor, will be our NJHS adviser.  Qualifications for membership and selection procedures will be in place for the 2015-2016 school year.  Click here to learn more about the proud tradition of the National Junior Honor Society.  


Annual Spring Art Zone Show & Academic Fair: Sunday, April 26th

Please join us this Sunday, April 26th from 11:00am - 2:00pm to celebrate our students' artistic and academic achievements from this school year!  Our halls will be transformed into an art gallery, showcasing projects created throughout the school year in our Art Zone program, and classrooms will have examples of our students' fine academic work.  Faculty and staff will be present to answer questions.    Everyone from the community is welcome!  Refreshments will be served in the school hall. We look forward to seeing you!


You Are Invited: Open House on Wednesday, April 22nd

Please join us while classes are in session to see St. Viator students and faculty in action!  You are invited to an Open House on Wednesday, April 22nd from 9:00am - 10:30am.  We are proud to provide a rigorous curriculum for every student, with full- and part-time programs for 3 & 4 year-olds and full day for kindergarten through 8th grade.

Happy Easter & Spring Break

The faculty, staff & students at St. Viator would like to wish everyone a happy, blessed Easter!
St. Viator will be on Easter & Spring break from Thursday, April 2 through Friday, April 10.  If you have a question for the Principal or office staff, or if you have an inquiry regarding admission for the 2015-2016 school year, please call the school office at 773-545-2173 and leave a message.  Someone will return your call promptly.
