2024 NJHS Induction Ceremony

During Catholic Schools Week, St. Viator Elementary School hosts the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) Induction Ceremony. This year, we proudly welcomed twelve new members to our chapter! Tuesday's ceremony took place in our Recreation Center, where parents, siblings, and family members joined our 4th through 8th grade students to witness the induction of the new members.

Assistant Principal Donna Sutfin and 8th grade homeroom teacher Mrs. Bloom presided over the ceremony. They delivered congratulatory remarks, and described how the induction was just the beginning of the NJHS experience. Inductees will continue their service with NJHS through group and individual projects over the next years.

8th grade NJHS members spoke to the group about the 5 Pillars of the National Junior Honor Society: Scholarship, Service, Leadership, Character, and Citizenship.

The official induction started with the inductees reciting the pledge to uphold the NJHS values.

Each new member then received their membership certificate and added their name to the NJHS roster.

Thank you to Mrs. Bloom, Mrs. Sutfin, and all of the St. Viator Staff who helped make the ceremony a special day for the inductees.

Thank you to all of the parents and family members who joined the ceremony to celebrate this accomplishment. The loving guidance of our St. Viator Families helps students reach their goals!

Congratulations to the 2024 National Junior Honor Society Inductees: Lucille, Maximilian, Stephanie, Gavin, Amari, Jackson, Tristan, Emily, Ava, Amelia, Adrian, and Julian!

We wish you continued success during the rest of your time at St. Viator Elementary School!

We are Peace Builders; We are Eagles; We are St. Viator!
