Teacher Appreciation Week 2023

The St. Viator Elementary School community celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week as a big “THANK YOU” to all of our teaching faculty! We appreciate our teachers, their helpers, our librarian, PE teacher, lunchroom monitors and all of the school support staff. We showed our appreciation with gestures both big and small - we love our teachers!

The experience of the St. Viator teaching staff spans generations. There are recently graduated educators working alongside seasoned faculty. It’s excellent to see them learning from each other and working together to provide St. Viator students with a robust learning experience. Our teachers meet students “where they are”, offering support as needed and challenge as necessary.

St. Viator Elementary School teachers also handle our students’ religious lessons and formation. Our Second Grade students complete their First Communion under staff direction, as do our Eighth Grade students with their Confirmation.

Our teachers support the various fundraising activities. It is a surprise to many students the first time they see their teacher at a gathering, but teachers support our Halloween Trunk or Treat, Winterfest, and Gala fundraising events. Their involvement with students extends beyond the classroom!

The St. Viator Elementary School community came together to show our appreciation, from Room Parents spreading information about the week, to parents who sent in donations, and parents decorating the classrooms and the Teacher’s Lounge. Teachers enjoyed a variety of breakfasts, lunches, snacks, and personal care items throughout the week. Thank you to all the parents who shaped our appreciation into a great week for our teachers!

All teachers work hard to engage their students and help them develop a love of learning. We happen to think our teachers do it the best!

Thank you St. Viator Elementary School Teachers!

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!

We are Peace Builders; We are Eagles; We are St. Viator!
