Be a part of what makes St. Viator so special - our amazing group of parent volunteers! St. Viator offers so many wonderful programs for students, families, and our community, many of which are only possible because of the hard work and dedication of parent volunteers.​

Whether you want to chair a committee, be part of a committee or help out at certain events, you’ll find volunteer opportunities that fit your interests, schedule and availability.

 

If you’re new to St. Viator, don’t worry! We will help you jump right in.

 

Grandparents, aunts, uncles and other caregivers are also welcome to volunteer, although they must have a direct connection to a St. Viator student and must complete VIRTUS training and a background check if they will be working directly with students. Information about VIRTUS training was sent home in the 'First Day Packet' you received on the first day of school, it is also available in the office or at Virtus Online Instruction.pdf

Thank you for sharing in our Christ-centered culture of joy! Service is paramount in all things St. Viator and is a poignant part of our student life. Our families point to the loving and caring community that is tied together in the fellowship of volunteering. Friendships are cemented in the faith-filled volunteer hours where our families are gathered on campus and around our community. We are grateful for your sacrifice of time, talent, and treasure. Viator Volunteer Highlights

Marketing & Enrollment

Work with William Teeple, Admissions Director and M&E Coordinator, with marketing & enrollment efforts - Open House ambassadors, helping with messaging/branding, website content and outreach via the school website, social media and through other recruitment channels. 

It's Showtime!

This performing arts showcase is open to students in all grades, from preK-3 to 8th. The inaugural “It’s Showtime!”  in 2022 featured students performing numbers from well-known musicals. Parent volunteers are needed to produce the event, coach student performance groups, design and create sets, assist with costumes and manage the student stage crew.

Winterfest

The St. Viator Winterfest brings together the St. Viator community and our neighbors. Featuring both indoor and outdoor activities, attractions include crafts sponsored by our ArtZone Committee, cookie decorating, hot cocoa tent, and a variety of food and drinks throughout the event. Santa always stops by Winterfest for photos!

Blue & Gold Gala

The Blue & Gold Gala is our primary annual fundraising event. The night is a chance for the adults of St. Viator to enjoy festivities for a good cause. Families, parishioners, alumni and new friends of St. Viator join together for dinner, dancing, silent auctions and more. The event has been held in our gym, local banquet halls, and even a private car museum in the neighborhood. While many items are up for auction, the “Classroom Treasures”, highlighting our students' artwork, are very popular and often win the highest bids.
