Congratulations Dr. Reiger!

It is with great pride that that we announce St. Viator Principal, Lisa Rieger, received her Doctor of Education (EdD) degree from the Administration and Supervision program at Loyola University Chicago’s School of Education on May 10, 2022.

Dr. Rieger joined the St. Viator faculty when she was hired as principal in July of 2018. She immediately made a positive, and swift, impact on the curriculum by implementing new TechEd tools, enhancing our STEAM program and making staffing changes. She managed St. Viator Elementary School through the COVID-19 pandemic, through recent changes in leadership at St. Viator Parish and she consistently ensures that St. Viator students are supported in a faith-filled environment.

Dr. Rieger is passionate about personalized learning and centralized her doctoral study around Catholic Elementary Schools Meeting the Needs of Every Child through Personalized Learning. She is looking forward to beginning her fifth year as the Principal at St. Viator Elementary School in the fall.

Dr. Rieger will be a featured speaker this coming fall at Loyola University’s Mustard Seed Project Conference “Answering the Call - Increasing Access for Each Learner”.

As part of our Award Assembly students surprised Dr. Rieger with posters and special cheers.

Please join us in extending congratulations to Dr. Rieger!
