Smiling Send-Off

The St. Viator Community has enjoyed Dr. Lisa Rieger's leadership as our school principal for the past eight school years. We announced in March that she was moving on to St. Patrick High School, and while we are sad that she is leaving, we celebrate her time here at St. Viator Elementary School!

Dr. Rieger drove our development as a Catholic Elementary School that supports all of our students, applying academic press with rigor, and love.

Dr. Rieger's time at St. Viator includes the Covid years, gym and school roof replacements, gym FLOOR replacement, school flooring renovation, i-Ready score increases, teacher professional development increases, and the Renew My Church initiative. She has accompanied eight classes through their First Holy Communion, First Reconciliation, Confirmation, and Graduations. She re-invigorated our May Crowning and consistently supported the service component of students' learning. Dr. Rieger has championed an inclusive learning environment, helping all Faculty and Staff meet students where they are learning. And that's a brief summary of her impact on St. Viator School, the details are many and nuanced.

We wish Dr. Rieger well as she moves over to St. Patrick High School. No doubt she will positively impact the young men as the Assistant Principal of Learning Services and Counseling at St. Patrick High School. And while she may root for the Shamrocks, she'll forever be an Eagle!
