The St. Viator Elementary School Jog-A-Walky 2023 is in the books. And we reached, and exceeded, our $25,000 goal! The event was a success, and we want to thank everyone who contributed time, talent, and treasury to create that success.
We say “thank you” to all of our students for the donations that they collected leading up to the Jog-A-Walky (JAW). And on the day of JAW, the students were the ones making the laps! Thank you students!
We say “thank you” to the faculty and staff who helped out. JAW disrupts the daily schedule, and you didn’t just roll with that, you embraced it. To the teachers taking laps to encourage their students, to the staff running supplies from the main building to the Rec Center, you helped make it happen. Thank you faculty and staff!
We say “thank you” to the parent volunteers who shaped this event. From event logistics to course layout, cheering, and even serving Italian Ice, you made a great day. Thank you parent volunteers!
We say “thank you” to the donors. We are grateful for the parents and families who gave of their time to cheer on the joggers. We also appreciate all of the parents, grandparents, extended family members, friends, and yes, bosses, who gave so generously. This money will be used to pay for the delivery and installation of new furniture for our second and third floor classrooms. We could not have shouldered this big lift without you. JAW is done for this school year, but there are more opportunities to contribute to St. Viator Elementary School.
