Gala Success!
The Mad Hatter's Masquerade Ball was an evening filled with food, dancing, silent auction excitement, and overall, fun! The 2026 St. Viator Blue & Gold Gala was a success! So many members of our community joined the festivities. And whether in evening gowns, or Wonderland-chic, everyone dressed to impress! Father Benjamin and Dr. Rieger kicked off the evening with a lovely prayer and welcoming. A good showing of parishioners, along with Father Michael, were also in attendance

First Holy Communion
We are celebrating our First Communicants, the St. Viator 2nd Grade students who received Holy Communion for the first time on Saturday. They took the next step in deepening their participation in the Church and their relationship with God. Ms. Murphy, the 2nd Grade Teacher, led her students through their preparation and accompanied them at the celebration. Dr. Rieger welcomed the congregation to start the Mass, and Father Benjamin and Father Michael co-celebrated the Sacrame

Friday "Faculty" Feature - Our New Associate Pastor

While he is an important part of our Parish and School, I don't think he technically falls under the "faculty" label. Father Michael Owen joined the SS Viator & Wenceslaus Parish July 1st of this past summer. As our Associate Pastor, “Father Mike” works with Father Benjamin handling the business between our two church sites and ministering to our school. We reached out to Fath

Friday Faculty Feature: Intermediate Grades
The St. Viator 4th and 5th grade classrooms are partnered together, where each grade has a homeroom, but moves to the other classroom for specific subjects. Students learn how to navigate this new responsibility. Mrs. Iannelli (5th) and Ms. Hook (4th) lead our intermediate grade classrooms! This year, Ms. Hook is the 4th grade Homeroom teacher, and handles Math and Science for both grades. Mrs. Iannelli is the 5th grade teacher, and handles Reading, Writing, and Social Studie

Ash Wednesday
This past Wednesday, St. Viator students joined Catholics across the world in receiving ashes and beginning Lent. Kindergarten through 8th grade students attended a prayer service with our Associate Paster, Father Michael. Later that morning, Father Michael visited the Preschool classrooms to give ashes, and explanation, to our youngest learners. Students have listened to the readings all week describing how to pray, fast, and give alms. We will keep the focus on these practi

This Friday, we share the teachers in our Primary Grade Classrooms: 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades. Our teachers represent all the stages of a teaching career, from newly graduated to seasoned educator. They all benefit from one another's unique approach to teaching. Ms. Endre (3rd), Ms. Murphy (2nd), and Mrs. Herrera (1st) We are grateful for Mrs. Herrera, Ms. Murphy, and Ms. Endre and all of their hard work in our Primary Grade Classrooms. Thank you, teachers!
