Gala Success!

The Mad Hatter's Masquerade Ball was an evening filled with food, dancing, silent auction excitement, and overall, fun! The 2026 St. Viator Blue & Gold Gala was a success!

So many members of our community joined the festivities. And whether in evening gowns, or Wonderland-chic, everyone dressed to impress!

Father Benjamin and Dr. Rieger kicked off the evening with a lovely prayer and welcoming. A good showing of parishioners, along with Father Michael, were also in attendance. There were also parents of alumni, still showing school spirit!

One of the highlights of the evening was celebrating the graduating families, especially those who were recipients of the "Spirit of St. Viator" award. These families have given so much to the school over the years, from their time, talent, and treasury. Our thanks go out to the Barnes Family, The Rice Family, and the Valencia Family. Their absence will be felt, their presence missed, but we cherish their many gifts and contributions to our community.

Faculty and Staff joined in the merriment. It was great having the teachers around as we "raised the paddle" for our Teacher Support Fund. At the end of the raise, we exceeded our goal, raising over $25,000 for Teacher stipends!

This year's Gala was underwritten by a variety of event sponsors. Our thanks go out to Susan Ellinger, the Teamsters JC25, National Investment Services, Inc., the Teamsters Local 727, Plaid Rx, The It's Showtime Committee, Merit Financial Advisors, CTM Legal Group, Elite Administration & Insurance, The Viatorian Priests, and Anonymous Donors. We are also grateful for everyone who contributed to our auction lots. From experiences to timepieces, beverages to artwork, it all made for an exciting silent auction. Thank you sponsors, donors, and contributors. Your gifts empowered our planners to craft this event to their liking. And to all of the people who coordinated the sponsorships and collected the donations, you are amazing! Thank you for all of your work on this piece.

Last, but definitely not least, we want to thank the event planners, the 2026 Gala Planning Committee! Thank you all for creating an amazing evening, with beautiful ambience, and a full auction. The Mad Hatter's Masquerade Ball was a great event for all of the attendees because you made it so with all of your hard work. We appreciate the fierce and loving dedication that you brought to the event.

And so we wrap up another Blue & Gold Gala, feeling so much gratitude. This is our largest fundraising effort of the school year, and this year it delivered. It was great to see our community gather and celebrate together, it was amazing having such backing from our outside supporters, and it is exciting knowing that we can show our amazing St. Viator teachers some love when they return to school in August. Thank you, all.
