CFTL at St. V

Dr. Rieger recently shared that St. Viator Elementary School has partnered with DePaul University to participate in their Chicago Future Teacher Leader program.

This unique Catholic School Program was developed by DePaul University’s Dr. Donna Kiel. It is a semester long, weekly program for our 7th graders and will be led by Dr. Molly Cinnamon and Mrs. Denise Daloia.

The program involves in-class instruction supplementing students' religion classwork. It also includes two field trips to DePaul University - such an exciting opportunity for our 7th grade students!

St. Viator Elementary School continually explores partnerships with innovative educators to bring exciting opportunities to students. In the past, we also worked with the Museum of Science and Industry to develop our STEAM offerings. These types of partnerships are a great way to keep our lessons current and forward-facing.
