We returned from the Thanksgiving Break ready to embrace the Advent season. St. Viator students, faculty, and staff are thinking about Jesus in our lives, and how we can prepare for his coming at Christmas.

The school's Nativity Scene went up in our south foyer. Thank you to the faculty and parent who pulled out all of the decorations, then pulled out all the stops to make a beautiful Nativity.

At our Morning Assembly, two of our 8th grade students assisted Dr. Rieger with our Advent Wreath, lighting the first candle symbolizing hope.

We will "light" the next candle each week until we break for Christmas.

The students lead the assembly in a prayer centering everyone on the theme of hope.

Our preparation will continue through the Advent season. Students will listen to the Gospel readings during the week and especially at Mass. And we will focus on the Advent Wreath during our Morning Assemblies. We wish you all a blessed Advent season - may you be mindful in your own preparations.
We are Peace Builders; We are Eagles; We are St. Viator!
