St. Viator Girl Scouts (5th through 8th grades) just repainted our Peaceful Playground. Located in between the school and the St. Joseph Center, students visit these features during recess and afterschool care. It is a favorite of our Preschool and Kindergarten Students on the first floor. The installation was completed in time for our Jog-A-Walky, so the features were also incorporated into the Early Childhood racecourse.

Troop Details
6th through 8th grade scouts, their mothers, and their troop leaders came together for this project. They designed the space, laid out the stencils, and painted the features. St. Viator bought the Peaceful Program during the COVID years, we're so happy it's still in use.

Hearts for Others
This year's school theme is "Soar with St. Viator: Eyes on Christ, Hearts for Others." We are encouraging all of our students to express their faith through service to others. The Girl Scouts embraced this theme with their project, setting up a space for younger students to enjoy - and beautifying our campus in the process! Dr. Rieger made sure to give them a "Shout-Out" at our Monday Morning Assembly.

If your daughter is interested in joining the Girl Scouts, reach out to the Main Office. We'll put you in contact with the troop leader for her age group. Also reach out if you want to help with the troops, or if you want to start a new troop! We've hosted Boy Scouts in the past as well, we just need a goup of dedicated parents to start the process.
We are grateful for our Girls Scouts, their Troop Leaders, and their supporters - we can't wait to see their future projects!
We are Peace Builders; We are Eagles; We are St. Viator!
